Changing Engine Oil
If you want your bike to take care of you, you must take care of your bike. And as the commercial states "Oil is the life blood or your engine." It stands to reason that changing oil would rate pretty high up there. And it does.
Find out your manufacture's recommendation as to the intervals between changing your engine oil - and use that as your worst case scenario. Change it more frequently than that if possible as it will save you money and performance in the long run.
Be sure to dispose of your old oil properly. I collect my used oil in a tupperware container and drop it off at the local express oil change location. They're very cool about accepting it without any hassle.
