Proper Air Pressure

I'm sure we all agree that flats ain't fun.  Keeping the proper air pressure in your tires will help ensure your ride keeps rolling.

You'll need an air pump and low-pressure air gauge to complete this task.  Air pressure changes with temperature and altitude so some recommend you don't adjust the pressure until you reach your riding area.

Check your manufacturer's recommendation for proper levels but it's likely between 12 and 14 psi.  If you're riding on a rocky surface, a little more air will probably help.

While checking your pressure, always double check to see that your rim locks and tubes are still fastened tightly.
